What started as a vision by MusicGNV to provide local, up and coming artists a stage, turned into a quarterly showcase featuring 15+ unique musicians. For those who have yet to share their personal songs, Heartwood Soundstage provided a place where they could do just that - each artist with a set of 3-4 of their own songs. But why give these talented songwriters an audience for one night? Instead, we decided to live record both audio and video for each artist - free of charge. Audio production done in-house by our talented team of engineers and mixers. Videography done by community volunteers. Videos edited by myself. Songs hand delivered to each artist to release on streaming platforms with videos shared on Heartwood Soundstage’s YouTube. Each night in the series brought in artists young & old from right here in Gainesville, Florida. They filled the appetite for inspiration, serendipity and community.
